Self-critique

I couldn't hear what was being said in my presentation first of all. Speaking in such a small room to a smaller crowd contributes to that some but I would like to work on speaking a little louder for the next presentation. It was also very obvious to me that I was completely uncomfortable. The more that time progressed the more rigid I became. More preparation might help with that but I also believe that more exposure to public speaking would help that. I also have a tendency to rock, even when I'm not in front of a crowd. It comes from always rocking a baby. I am making a conscious effort not to rock and watch speech patterns when I talk. By watching speech patterns I hope to eliminate the filler words/sounds and the 'likes'. I also noticed that I was very mobile during the presentation. I would like to see a little less movement while I'm speaking and I also need to figure out what to do with my hands. I noticed that as I became more rigid my grip on my hands became stronger and stronger. I need to breath.
